Christelle Pellecuer is in conversation with Lydia Berkey, a transracial adoptee, based in Michigan. They discussed the different narratives around adoption and how it impacted Lydia's identity. Lydia talked about becoming the most authentic version of herself and affirming herself as a black woman and developing a racial identity. She also talked about being an adoptee advocate and about finding love.
