In this episode Christelle Pellecuer is in conversation with Lanise Antoine-Shelley, an Haitian born interracial adoptee. Lanise shared her experience of coming out of the fog and the impact of adoption on her identity. They discussed grief, adopters narrative about adoption and impact of suppressing emotions for long time. Lanise also talked about her podcast “When They Were Young: Amplifying Voices of Adoptees”, her creative work and her inner work.
